The 93LC46AX/BX is a low voltage serial Electrically Erasable PROM with a single supply operation down to 2.5V.
It features low power CMOS technology, self-timed ERASE and WRITE cycles, automatic ERAL before WRAL, and power on/off data protection circuitry.
It has an industry standard 3-wire serial interface, sequential READ function, and 1,000,000 E/W cycles guaranteed.
The device is available in 8-pin PDIP/SOIC and 8-pin TSSOP packages and for commercial and industrial temperature ranges.
The device has various pin functions and electrical characteristics, and it offers instructions for ERASE, ERAL, EWDS, EWEN, READ, WRITE, and WRAL.
The device also provides data protection during power-up and power-down.
The ERASE instruction forces all data bits of the specified address to the logical “1” state, while the ERAL instruction erases the entire memory array to the logical “1” state.
