It also provides fourmounting holes for attachment ofthe ADIS16488Ato the breakout board. PC-Based Evaluation, EVAL-ADIS The EVAL-ADIS provides the systemsupportPC-based evaluation of the ADIS16488A. POWER SUPPLY CONSIDERATIONS The ADIS16488A hasapproximately 24 μFofcapacitance across the VDDandGNDpins.Whereas this capacitorbankprovidesa large amount of localized filtering,it alsopresentsan opportunity for excessivechargingcurrent when theVDDvoltage rampstoo quickly. Use thefollowingrelationship tohelpdetermine the appropriateVDDvoltageprofile, withrespect toany current-limit functions that can causethepowersupplyto loseregulation and potentiallyintroduce unsafeconditions fortheADIS16488A.
