Brief Description of 7486


The 7486 IC is a quadruple 2-input exclusive OR gate. Each of the four gates is designed to perform the exclusive-OR logical function. This IC is encapsulated in a 14-pin package with standard dual-inline packaging. It operates on a nominal power supply voltage of 5V, typical for TTL (Transistor-Transistor Logic) devices.

Some key specifications of the 7486 IC include:

It can handle a collector to base voltage of 200V, and a collector to emitter voltage of 200V.
The emitter to base voltage can go up to 5V.
The collector current is 15A, which is a measure of the maximum current the transistor can handle.
It has a power dissipation of 150W, indicating how much power the transistor can handle before overheating.
