Brief Description of ATMEGA128


The ATMEGA128 is a microcontroller (MCU) produced by Atmel (now part of Microchip). It is based on the AVR RISC architecture and is designed to be used in a wide range of embedded systems applications.

The ATMEGA128 is a powerful microcontroller that features a 128KB of flash memory, 4KB of SRAM and 4KB of EEPROM. It also includes 32 general-purpose input/output (GPIO) pins, a 8-channel, 10-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), and a variety of other peripheral interfaces such as timers, serial communication interfaces (UART, SPI, and I2C), and a USB controller.

It also features a wide operating voltage range of 1.8V-5V, and a maximum clock frequency of 16 MHz. It's also equipped with advanced power management features such as Power-saving Sleep Modes, Brown-out Detection, and Power-On Reset.

The ATMEGA128 is widely used in a variety of applications such as industrial control, consumer electronics, and automotive systems. It is also used in various projects such as robotics, home automation and others. The ATMEGA128 is also one of the most popular microcontroller among hobbyist and maker community, due to its powerful features, wide range of compatible libraries and a large community support.
