CIM Disable

1 = Disable carrier integrity monitor function.

0 = Enable carrier integrity monitor function.

Default is ‘0’.

SEQ Test Inhibit

1 = Disable 10BASE-T SEQ testing.

0 = Enable 10BASE-T SEQ testing. Generates a COL pulse

following the completion of a packet transmission.

1 = Enable 10BASE-T normal loop back.

0 = Disable 10BASE-T normal loop back.

Auto polarity disable

1 = Disable auto polarity detection/correction.

0 = Enable auto polarity detection/correction.

Reverse Polarity

When Reg16.5 is set to 0, this bit sets to 1. If Reverse

Polarity is detected on the media, it is set to 0. When

Reg16.5 is set to 1, writing a one to the bit reverses the

polarity of the transmitter.

Note: The reverse polarity is detected either through 8

inverted NLP or through a burst of inverted FLP.
