DESCRIPTION:

TheFCT16373T16-bit transparentD-typelatchis builtusingadvanceddual

metal CMOS technology. These high-speed, low-power latches are ideal for

temporarystorageofdata.Theycanbeusedforimplementingmemoryaddress

latches,I/Oports,andbusdrivers.TheOutputEnableandLatchEnablecontrols

are organized to operate each device as two 8-bit latches, or one 16-bit latch.

Flow-throughorganizationofsignalpinssimplifieslayout.Allinputsaredesigned

with hysteresis for improved noise margin.

TheFCT16373Tisideallysuitedfordrivinghigh-capacitanceloadsandlow-

impedancebackplanes.Theoutputbuffersaredesignedwithpoweroffdisable

capability to allow "live insertion" of boards when used as backplane drivers.
