5.2.4
IN_SET pin behavior during device fault management
If a fault condition arises on the channel controlled by the IN_SET pin, once the D-pin reaches the high level
threshold VD(th), the current of the IN_SET pin is reduced to IIN_SET(fault), in order to minimise the current
consumption of the whole device under fault condition (detailed description is in the load diagnosis section,
Chapter 6).
5.2.5
OUT_SET pin
The OUT_SET pin, mirroring the IN_SET current defined by the external resistor RSET, can be used to define the
IN_SET current of an additional companion device.
If minimum IN_SET activation current IIN_SET(act) is not reached or if the D-pin reaches the high level threshold
VD(th) the OUT_SET current is reduced to IOUT_SET(OFF). This allows to drive other devices via OUT_SET, even when
digital dimming is required, without external components (see application drawing example in Chapter 7).
