Recommended C1 is a low ESR (<100 mΩ) 330 µF tantalum and C2 is a 1 µF ceramic or equivalent. Recommended output-

decoupling capacitor C3 is 56 µF (less than 75 mΩ ESR) for APC12x03 devices and 100µF (less than 40 mΩ ESR) for

APC12x08 devices.
