24 / 41 page ![]() Battery transitions management TDA7569BLV 24/41 DocID023498 Rev 9 7 Battery transitions management 7.1 Low voltage operation (“start stop”) The most recent OEM specifications are requiring automatic stop of car engine at traffic light, in order to reduce emissions of polluting substances. The TDA7569BLV, thanks to its innovating design, allows a continuous operation when battery falls down to 6/7V during such conditions, without producing pop noise. The maximum system power will be reduced accordingly. Worst case battery cranking curves are shown below, indicating the shape and durations of allowed battery transitions. Figure 34.
