To determine which COM port has been assigned to Converter A, B, C or D, the cursor point to the USB

Serial Port (COM5), (COM6), (COM7), (COM8), then right-click on it and select “Properties”, it shows their

relationship to the Converter A, B, C or D.

In the figure below, the Converter A is assigned to COM5, Converter B is assigned to COM6, Converter C

is assigned to COM7 and Converter D is assigned to COM8.

Use this COM port number with your application software in order to access the USB-COM422-PLUS4.

If an application requires use of a different COM port number, the assignment may be changed through

the Advanced Driver Options settings.

From the above “Properties”, click on the “Port Settings” tab.
