Position Counter Reset Enable bit

= Index Pulse resets Position Counter

= Index Pulse does not reset Position Counter

Note:

Bit applies only when QEIM<2:0> = 100 or 110.

Timer Clock Source Select bit

= External clock from pin QEA (on the rising edge)

= Internal clock (TCY)

UPDN_SRC:

Position Counter Direction Selection Control bit

= QEB pin state defines position counter direction

= Control/Status bit, UPDN (QEICON<11>), defines timer counter (POSCNT) direction
