We verify that the condition on RP (Equation 10) is satisfied: RP must be higher than 79 Ω.

Using the formulas of Table 2, we have:

RP dissipates a part of the energy stored in the inductor. As RP decreases, iP increases and

the amount of energy transferred from the inductor to RP increases as well.
