Build the uClinux kernel

Once you have installed the tools, you can configure and build the kernel into a binary file. You don’t

need to be logged on as root from this point on.

2.1

Configure the uClinux kernel

To configure the kernel, go to the uClinux-dist directory and run the configuration utility:

This will run the configuration program that is shown in

Figure 1, below.

In the configuration program, select Vendor/Product Selection.

Enter your vendor/product combination, the Kernel version and the Libc version according

to the table below:

Save this configuration by selecting

make menuconfig
