Layout Recommendation
Decoupling
The DM9081 contains both analog and digital elements.
Separate power pins are provided for the analog sections,
the digital portion of TP line drivers, the TP line drivers,
and the digital core logic. Care should be taken in board
design to minimize coupling of noise from the power
supply and digital logic to the analog power pins.
Decoupling capacitors should be placed as close to the
appropriate VDD and GND pins as possible. Figure 7
shows the recommended decoupling values for the
DM9081 chip.
