TheTMhastwointerrupts.AlloftheTMinterruptsarecontainedwithintheMulti-function

Interrupt.FortheTMtherearetwointerruptrequestflagSTMP0FandSTMA0Fandtwoenablebits

STMP0EandSTMA0E.ATMinterruptrequestwilltakeplacewhenanyoftheTMrequestflags

areset,asituationwhichoccurswhenaTMcomparatorPorcomparatorAmatchsituationhappens.

Toallowtheprogramtobranchtoitsrespectiveinterruptvectoraddress,theglobalinterruptenable

bit,EMI,andtherespectiveTMInterruptenablebit,andassociatedMulti-functioninterruptenable

bit,MF0E,mustfirstbeset.Whentheinterruptisenabled,thestackisnotfullandaTMcomparator

matchsituationoccurs,asubroutinecalltotherelevantTMInterruptvectorlocations,willtake

place.WhentheTMinterruptisserviced,theEMIbitwillbeautomaticallyclearedtodisableother

interrupts,howeveronlytherelatedMF0Fflagwillbeautomaticallycleared.AstheTMinterrupt

requestflagswillnotbeautomaticallycleared,theyhavetobeclearedbytheapplicationprogram.

OCVP Interrupt

TheOCVPinterruptiscontrolledbythetwointernalcomparators.AnOCVPinterruptrequestwill

takeplacewhentheOCVPinterruptrequestflag,OCVPF,isset,asituationthatwilloccurwhen

thecomparatorsoutputchangesstate.Toallowtheprogramtobranchtoitsrespectiveinterrupt

vectoraddress,theglobalinterruptenablebit,EMI,andOCVPinterruptenablebit,OCVPE,must

firstbeset.Whentheinterruptisenabled,thestackisnotfullandthecomparatorinputgeneratesa

comparatoroutputtransition,asubroutinecalltotheOCVPinterruptvector,willtakeplace.When

theOCVPInterruptisserviced,theEMIbitwillbeautomaticallyclearedtodisableotherinterrupts,

andtheOCVPinterruptrequestflag,OCVPF,willalsobeautomaticallycleared.

Interrupt Wake-up Function

Eachoftheinterruptfunctionshasthecapabilityofwakingupthemicrocontrollerwheninthe

SLEEPorIDLEMode.Awake-upisgeneratedwhenaninterruptrequestflagchangesfromlowto

highandisindependentofwhethertheinterruptisenabledornot.Therefore,eventhoughthedevice

isintheSLEEPorIDLEModeanditssystemoscillatorstopped,situationssuchasexternaledge

transitionsontheexternalinterruptpin,alowpowersupplyvoltageorcomparatorinputchangemay

causetheirrespectiveinterruptflagtobesethighandconsequentlygenerateaninterrupt.Caremust

thereforebetakenifspuriouswake-upsituationsaretobeavoided.Ifaninterruptwake-upfunction

istobedisabledthenthecorrespondinginterruptrequestflagshouldbesethighbeforethedevice

enterstheSLEEPorIDLEMode.Theinterruptenablebitshavenoeffectontheinterruptwake-up

function.
