The bottom view shows 50 solder balls. The pitch of the BGA balls is 500 µm, the ball diameter is 300

µm ±5 µm and the collapsed ball height is 0.244 ± 0.050 mm.

11.1 Moisture Sensitivity Level and Recommended Reflow Profile

Acconeer A111 sensor is a Moisture Sensitive Devices (MSD) in accordance to the IPC/JEDEC

specification. The Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) relates to the packaging and handling precautions

required. A111 sensor is rated at MSL level 3.

Maximum number of reflow passes recommended for A111 is 2.

Soldering process qualified during qualification with “Preconditioning MSL 3: 30°C. 60%r.h., 192h,

according to JEDEC JSTD20”, and qualified for soldering heat resistance according to JEDEC J-STD-

020.

11.2 RoHS and REACH Statement

Acconeer A111 sensor meet the requirements of Directive 2011/65/EC of the European Parliament

and of the Council on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and the requirements of the

REACH regulation (EC 1907/2006) on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of

Chemicals.
