58 / 82 page  CF-ATA command description SMCxxxAF 58/82 9.5 Idle command (97h or E3h) This command causes the card to set BSY, enter the Idle mode, clear BSY and generate an interrupt. If the sector count is non-zero, it is interpreted as a timer count (each count is 5 ms) and the automatic power down mode is enabled. If the sector count is zero, the automatic power-down mode is disabled. Note that this time base (5 ms) is different from the ATA specification. Table 53 defines the byte sequence of the Idle command. Table 53.
