12.7. One shot register

When the device is configured in standby mode and the BUSY bit is “0”, writing to the one shot register will

immediately initiate a new single temperature measurements. However, writing to the one shot register while the

device is in active mode will have no effect.

12.8. Therm Limit registers

The Therm Limit registers are used to set temperatures for thermal event. Once the measured temperature

exceeds the corresponding Therm Limit, the

format must match the chosen data format of the temperature reading registers.

12.9. Mask register

The mask register is used to determine whether the temperature is masked or not. When the temperature is

masked, the

ALERT pin will not be asserted even when the temperature is out of limit. No matter the MASK bit

is set or not, the status registers will be updated normally.
