Motor control

STM32446E-EVAL evaluation board supports both asynchronous and synchronous

three-phase brushless motor control via a 34-pin connector CN3, which provides all

required control and feedback signals to and from motor power-driving board. The available

signals on this connector are emergency stop, motor speed, 3-phase motor current, bus

voltage, heatsink temperature, coming from the motor driving board and 6 channels of PWM

control signal, going to the motor driving circuit.

Solder bridges that must be closed for motor control application, are marked in red and are

showed in Figure 7. The solder bridges, that must be opened for motor control application

are: SB85, SB83, SB84, SB19, SB46, SB26, SB38, SB114, SB110 SB111, SB112 and they

are showed in the same Figure 7.
