sameastheMasterdevice.

SetuptheSBENbitintheSBCRcontrolregistertoenabletheSPIinterface.

Forwriteoperations:writethedatatotheSBDRregister,whichwillactuallyplacethedatainto

theTXRXbuffer.ThenwaitforthemasterclockSCKandSCSsignal.Afterthisgotostep6.

Forreadoperations:thedatatransferredinontheSDIlinewillbestoredintheTXRXbufferuntil

allthedatahasbeenreceivedatwhichpointitwillbelatchedintotheSBDRregister.

zerothengotothefollowingstep.

Error Detection

TheWCOLbitintheSBCRregisterisprovidedtoindicateerrorsduringdatatransfer.Thebitis

setbytheSPIserialInterfacebutmustbeclearedbytheapplicationprogram.Thisbitindicatesa

datacollisionhasoccurredwhichhappensifawritetotheSBDRregistertakesplaceduringadata

transferoperationandwillpreventthewriteoperationfromcontinuing.
