Theonlywayofchangingthevalueofthe10-bitcounterusingtheapplicationprogram,isto clearthecounterbychangingtheTnONbitfromlowtohigh.Thecounterwillalsobecleared automaticallybyacounteroverfloworacomparematchwithoneofitsassociatedcomparators. Whentheseconditionsoccur,aTMinterruptsignalwillalsousuallybegenerated.TheCompact TypeTMcanoperateinanumberofdifferentoperationalmodes,canbedrivenbydifferentclock sourcesincludinganinputpinandcanalsocontrolanoutputpin.Alloperatingsetupconditionsare selectedusingrelevantinternalregisters. Compact Type TM Register Description OveralloperationoftheCompactTMiscontrolledusingseveralregisters.Areadonlyregister pairexiststostoretheinternalcounter10-bitvalue,whilearead/writeregisterpairexiststostore theinternal10-bitCCRAvalue.Theremainingtworegistersarecontrolregisterswhichsetupthe differentoperatingandcontrolmodesaswellasthethreeCCRPbits.
