Initializing the Device R16DS0006EU0101 Rev.1.01 Page 20 of 106 Jul 21, 2022 3.4 Configuring the Device Configure the ISL68229 and ISL68239 to generate a configuration file using PowerNavigator and either directly load to the device RAM or program to the device NVM. During device initialization, the IC attempts to load a configuration from NVM. If no configuration is found, the device remains in a wait state with the PWM pins tri-stated. The device ignores attempts to enable and waits until a configuration is directly loaded using PowerNavigator. The device features and functions described in this datasheet are all configured using PowerNavigator. The datasheet is intended to provide fundamental understanding of device behavior and design information. Additional detail regarding the configuration process is provided in PowerNavigator. |
