61 / 91 page  SMCxxxBF CF-ATA command description 61/91 10.4.18 Word 64: Advanced PIO transfer modes supported This field is bit significant. Any number of bits may be set to ‘1’ in this field by the CompactFlash Memory Card to indicate the advanced PIO modes it is capable of supporting. ● Bits 7-2 are reserved for future advanced PIO modes. ● Bit 1 is set to ‘1’, indicates that the CompactFlash Memory Card supports PIO mode 4. ● Bit 0 is set to ‘1’ to indicate that the CompactFlash Memory Card supports PIO mode 3. Note: Support for PIO modes 5 and above are specific to CompactFlash are reported in Word 163 10.4.19 Word 65: Minimum Multi-Word DMA transfer cycle time Word 65 of the parameter information of the Identify Device command is defined as the minimum Multi-Word DMA transfer cycle time. It corresponds to the minimum cycle time for which the Card ensures data integrity during transfers. It is expressed in nanoseconds. The returned value is ‘50h’ (for Cycle time values refer to Table 22). 10.4.20 Word 66: Recommended Multi-Word DMA transfer cycle time Word 66 of the parameter information of the Identify Device command is defined as the recommended Multi-Word DMA transfer cycle time. The returned value is ‘50h’ (for Cycle time values refer to Table 22). 10.4.21 Word 67: Minimum PIO transfer cycle time without flow control This field gives the minimum cycle time (in ns) that the host should use for the CompactFlash Memory Card to ensure data integrity during transfers when flow control is not used. The returned value is ‘50h’ (for Cycle time values refer to Table 22). 10.4.22 Word 68: Minimum PIO transfer cycle time with IORDY This field gives the minimum cycle time (in ns) supported by the CompactFlash Memory Card to perform data transfers using IORDY flow control. The returned value is ‘50h’ (for Cycle time values refer to Table 22). |
