Thermal Resistance
Thermal performance is directly linked to PCB design and operating environment. Careful attention to PCB thermal
design is required. θJA is specified for the worst-case conditions, that is, a device soldered in a circuit board for
surface-mount packages and measured using a standard 4-layer board, unless otherwise specified. θJC is the
junction-to-case thermal resistance.
