VOUT external capacitor
The stabilization of the main regulator is achieved by connecting an external capacitor
CVOUT
(a)
to the VOUT pin. CVOUT is specified in the operating condition section. Care
should be taken to limit the series inductance to less than 15 nH.

Supply current characteristics
The STLUX385A supply current is calculated by summing the supply base current in the
desired operating mode as per
Table 37, with the peripheral supply current value reported in
Table 39 and Table 40.
For example, considering an application where:
