Power Supply Sequence
• IfthepowerisindividuallysuppliedontheLCDandVDDpins,itisstronglyrecommendedtofollowthe
Holtekpowersupplysequencerequirement.
• Ifthepowersupplysequencerequirementisnotfollowed,itmayresultinmalfunction.
HoltekPowerSupplySequenceRequirement:
1.Power-onsequence:
TurnonthelogicpowersupplyVDDfirstandthenturnontheLCDdriverpowersupplyVLCD.
2.Power-offsequence:
TurnofftheLCDdriverpowersupplyVLCD.FirstandthenturnoffthelogicpowersupplyVDD.
3.TheHoltekPowerSupplySequenceRequirementmustbefollowednomatterwhethertheVLCDvoltageis
higherthantheVDDvoltage.
• WhentheVLCDvoltageissmallerthanorisequaltoVDDvoltageapplication
