How to calculate total power loss The power consumption of the µPD78044H, µPD78045H, and µPD78046H can be classified into the three categories shown below. The sum of the three categories should be less than the total power loss PT (80 % or less of ratings is recommended). CPU power consumption: calculate VDD (MAX.) × IDD1 (MAX.). Output pin power consumption: Normal output and display output are available. Power consumption when maximum current flows into each output pin.
