Profile – application interface functions

6.6.7

HidDevice_Update_Battery_Level()

Description

This is called by the application to start the update for the battery level characteristic. On

successful update, the application is notified through the event

EVT_BATTERY_LEVEL_UPDATE_CMPLT.

Parameters

batteryServiceIndex – the battery service whose characteristic must be updated.

BatteryLevel – value of the battery level characteristic.

HidDevice_Update_Scan_Refresh_Char()

Description

This is called by the application to start the update for the scan refresh characteristic. On

successful update, the application is notified through the event

EVT_SCAN_REFRESH_UPDATE_CMPLT.

Parameters

scanRefresh – the value of the scan refresh characteristic

Allow_BatteryLevel_Char_Read()

Description

This is called by the application when it receives an event EVT_BATT_LEVEL_READ_REQ

from the profile. When EVT_BATT_LEVEL_READ_REQ is received, the application should

first update the battery level characteristic if required and then call this function. The stack

blocks the read response until this function is called by the application. For more details see

the event description for EVT_BATT_LEVEL_READ_REQ.

HIDProfile_StateMachine()

Description

The application calls this function for checking current main profile and profile state,

substate and performing related actions and consequent states updates.
