The stop command (ST) will cause the WTS701 to immediately stop converting, flush the

buffer and enter the wait state.

Once the wait state has been entered the device will clear the convert (CONV) bit from the status

active. To release the CODEC bus, or Power Down the analog path, an IDLE command should be

sent to the device. If a convert command is terminated using any of the methods described in this

section, another convert command cannot be sent until the previous conversion is completed. The

CNVT bit must be polled to determine that conversion is completed before a new conversion can be

started.
