Visualize distribution and intensity: Add depth to

your analysis with color grade and histograms

Color and graphical representations add depth to your signal

analysis. With the standard color grade and histogram features,

the 6000 X-Series oscilloscopes can quickly reveal just how

often a particular event of interest occurs by providing a three-

dimensional quantitative view of the waveforms. Because the

6000 X-Series’ color grade operates like a separate function with

its own database, you can apply the color grade to an analog

channel, a reference waveform, or a math function such as an

FFT.

You also can turn on the histogram to an analog channel,

a reference waveform, or a math function. Apply it to a

measurement result to see graphical distributions and quickly

discover potential outliers. The measurement result histogram

display offers more insights than standard measurement statistics

can.
