FAST_READ Command

TheFAST_READcommandprovidesahigherspeedtoaccesstheVoiceROMdata.Theaddress

islatchedontherisingedgeoftheSPIclockpin,namelySCKA,andeachbitofthedatawillbe

shiftedoutonthefallingedgeofSCKA.Thefirstaddressbytecanpointtoanylocationinthevoice

ROM.Theaddressisautomaticallyincrementedtothenextaddressaftereachbytedataisshifted

out,sothewholememorycanbereadoutbyasingleFAST_READcommand.Theaddresswill

rolloverto0whenthehighestaddresshasbeenreached.Theaccompanyingflowchartanddiagram

illustratetheFAST_READdatainstructionsettingprocedureandthetimingdiagram.

Clear SCSAB pin =0

Send FAST_READ

command code= 0BH

to SDOA pin

Send 3 bytes address to

SDOA pin

Send 1 byte dummy byte

address to SDOA pin
