36 / 84 page ![]() Rev. 1.00 36 De�e��e� 1�� �011 Rev. 1.00 37 De�e��e� 1�� �011 HT83B60 Voice Mask MCU HT83B60 Voice Mask MCU SPI Registers TheSIMDRA/Bregisterisusedtostorethedatabeingtransmittedandreceived.Therearetwo controlregistersassociatedwiththeSPIinterface,SIMC0A/BandSIMC2A/Bandonedataregister knownasSIMDRA/B.TheSIMC1A/BregisterisnotusedbytheSPIfunction.RegisterSIMC0 A/Bisusedtocontroltheenable/disablefunction,thepowerdowncontrolandtosetthedata transmissionclockfrequency.RegisterSIMC2A/BisusedforothercontrolfunctionssuchasLSB/ MSBselection,writecollisionflagetc. Thefollowinggivesfurtherexplanationofeachbit: • SIMENA/B TheA/Bbitistheoverallon/offcontrolfortheSPIinterface.WhentheA/Bbitisclearedto zerotodisabletheSPIinterface,theSDI,SDOA/B,SCKA/BandSCSA/Blineswillbeina floatingconditionandtheSPIoperatingcurrentwillbereducedto<0.1mAat5V.Whenthebitis hightheSPIinterfaceisenabled.NotethatwhentheSIMENA/Bbitchangesfromlowtohigh thecontentsoftheSPIcontrolregisterswillbeinanunknownconditionandshouldthereforebe initialisedbytheapplicationprogram. • SIM0A/B~SIM2A/B ThesethreebitscontroltheMaster/SlaveselectionandalsosetuptheSPIinterfaceclockspeed whenintheMasterMode.TheSPIclockisafunctionofthesystemclockwhetheritbeRCtype orCrystaltype.IftheSlaveModeisselectedthentheclockwillbesuppliedbytheexternal Masterdevice. Thefollowinggivesfurtherexplanationofeachbit: ♦ TRFA/B TheTRFA/BbitistheTransmit/ReceiveCompleteflagandisclearedbytheapplication programandcanbeusedtogenerateaninterrupt.Whenthebitishighthedatahasbeen transmittedorreceived.Ifthebitislowthedataisbeingtransmittedorhasnotyetbeen received. ♦ WCOLA/B TheWCOLA/Bbitisusedtodetectifadatacollisionhasoccurred.Ifthisbitishighitmeans thatdatahasbeenattemptedtobewrittentotheSMDRA/Bregisterduringadatatransfer operation.Thiswritingoperationwillbeignoredifdataisbeingtransferred.Thebitcanbe clearedbytheapplicationprogram.NotethatusingtheCSENA/Bbitcanbedisabledor enabledviaconfigurationoption. ♦ CSENA/B TheCSENA/Bbitisusedasanon/offcontrolfortheSCSA/Bpin.Ifthisbitislowthenthe SCSA/Bpinwillbedisabledandplacedintoafloatingcondition.IfthebitishightheSCSA/B pinwillbeenabledandusedasaselectpin. ♦ MLSA/B The MLS A/B is used to select how the data is transferred, either MSB or LSB first. Setting the bit high will select MSB first and low for LSB first. NotethattheSIMC2A/BregisteristhesameastheSIMARA/BregisterusedbytheI2C interface. |
