79 / 102 page  Rev. 1.10 78 July 01, 2016 Rev. 1.10 79 July 01, 2016 HT45F39/HT45F391 Ultrasonic Distance Measurement 8-bit Flash MCU HT45F39/HT45F391 Ultrasonic Distance Measurement 8-bit Flash MCU Shunt Regulator – HT45F39 only TheHT45F39deviceincludesafullyintegratedshuntregulator.Theshuntregulatorisacommon andsimpletypeofregulatorwhoseoutputisusedasthedevicepowersupply.Theshuntregulatoris constructedofapowertransistorandavoltagefeedbackcircuit.Thepowertransistor,whoseoutput currentiscontrolledbyavoltagefeedbackcircuit,isusedtoshunttheextracurrenttomaintaina constantregulatedvoltageonVDD.Thispowertransistorprovidesacurrentpathfromthedevice supplyvoltagetoground.Anexternalresistor,RSER,shouldbeproperlyselectedtoseriallyconnect VDDtotheexternalpowersupply.Theshuntregulatormaynothavetheexpectedperformanceif theRSERresistanceistoosmallortoolarge.AcapacitorisexternallyconnectedbetweenVDDand VSSpinstostabilisetheregulatedvoltage.Notethatexcessivepowerdissipationinformofheat duetotheshuntcurrentthroughthepowertransistorshouldbetakenintoconsiderationintheuser applications. RSER ISUPPLY VUNREG VOUT CBYPASS ISHUNT VDD Feedback VSS ILOAD VDD VSS Shunt Regulator Block Diagram Interrupts Interruptsareanimportantpartofanymicrocontrollersystem.Whenanexternaleventoran internalfunctionsuchasaTimerModuleoranA/Dconverterrequiresmicrocontrollerattention, theircorrespondinginterruptwillenforceatemporarysuspensionofthemainprogramallowing themicrocontrollertodirectattentiontotheirrespectiveneeds.Thedevicescontainoneexternal interruptandseveralinternalinterruptsfunctions.Theexternalinterruptisgeneratedbytheactionof theexternalINTpin,whiletheinternalinterruptsaregeneratedbyvariousinternalfunctionssuchas theTMs,Auto-EnvelopeComparator,andtheA/Dconverter. Interrupt Registers Overallinterruptcontrol,whichbasicallymeansthesettingofrequestflagswhencertain microcontrollerconditionsoccurandthesettingofinterruptenablebitsbytheapplicationprogram, iscontrolledbyaseriesofregisters,locatedintheSpecialPurposeDataMemory,asshowninthe accompanyingtable.TheINTC0~INTC2registerssetuptheprimaryinterruptswhiletheINTEG registersetuptheexternalinterrupttriggeredgetype. |
