A/D Flash MCU with EEPROM

Single Pulse Output Mode

Toselectthismode,bitsSTM1andSTM0intheSTMC1registershouldbesetto10respectively

andalsotheSTIO1andSTIO0bitsshouldbesetto11respectively.TheSinglePulseOutputMode,

asthenamesuggests,willgenerateasingleshotpulseontheSTMoutputpin.

ThetriggerforthepulseoutputleadingedgeisalowtohightransitionoftheSTONbit,which

canbeimplementedusingtheapplicationprogram.HoweverintheSinglePulseOutputMode,the

STONbitcanalsobemadetoautomaticallychangefromlowtohighusingtheexternalSTCKpin,

whichwillinturninitiatetheSinglePulseoutput.WhentheSTONbittransitionstoahighlevel,the

counterwillstartrunningandthepulseleadingedgewillbegenerated.TheSTONbitshouldremain

highwhenthepulseisinitsactivestate.Thegeneratedpulsetrailingedgewillbegeneratedwhen

theSTONbitisclearedtozero,whichcanbeimplementedusingtheapplicationprogramorwhena

comparematchoccursfromComparatorA.

HoweveracomparematchfromComparatorAwillalsoautomaticallycleartheSTONbitand

thusgeneratetheSinglePulseoutputtrailingedge.InthiswaytheCCRAvaluecanbeusedto

controlthepulsewidth.AcomparematchfromComparatorAwillalsogenerateaSTMinterrupt.

ThecountercanonlyberesetbacktozerowhentheSTONbitchangesfromlowtohighwhenthe

counterrestarts.IntheSinglePulseOutputModeCCRPisnotused.TheSTCCLRandSTDPXbits

arenotusedinthisMode.
