8.1 I/O PORT CONFIGURATION
REG_CONF0 allows dynamic change in I/O Port
configuration during program execution setting the
communication direction of each bit.
IOi
setting equal to ”0” configures the i-th bit
of the P(0:7) I/O Port in input. Data com-
ing from external digital devices are
stored in the 6-th location (INP_PORT)of
the Input register bench.
IOi=”1” sets the
i-th bit of the port in
output. Data stored in the i-th location of
the Register File is written on the port by
using the instruction:
