Power-On (Cold) Reset (POR)

DuringtheriseofpowersuppliestheVIOsupplyvoltagemustremainlessthanorequaltotheVCCsupply

voltage.VIHalsomustremainlessthanorequaltotheVIOsupply.

TheColdResetEmbeddedAlgorithmrequiresarelativelylong,hundredsofμs,period(tVCS)toloadallofthe

EACalgorithmsanddefaultstatefromnon-volatilememory.DuringtheColdResetperiodallcontrolsignals

includingCE#andRESET#areignored.IfCE#isLowduringtVCSthedevicemaydrawhigherthannormal

PORcurrentduringtVCSbutthelevelofCE#willnotaffecttheColdResetEA.CE#orOE#musttransitionfrom

HightoLowaftertVCSforavalidreadorwriteoperation.RESET#maybeHighorLowduringtVCS.IfRESET#is

LowduringtVCSitmayremainLowattheendoftVCStoholdthedeviceintheHardwareResetstate.IfRESET#

isHighattheendoftVCSthedevicewillgototheStandbystate.
