The

eKTF6708 supports a protect function to prevent source code from overwriting and reading. When the

instruction TBRDA/TBRD/TBWR is executed at a protected area, it can write or read all flash ROM. When

the instruction TBRDA/TBRD/TBWR is executed at an unprotected area, it writes or reads the ROM at

unprotected areas only.

6.14.1

Enhance Protect Programming

The Enhance Protect operates as follows:

Set LOCKEN.

Write 0xC5 into FLKR.

Write LOCKPR to set protection range.

*Instruction “TBRDA/TBRD/TBWR” cannot be writing at the end of protect area

*The basic unit of LOCKPR is 128 words.

*When using TBWR instruction, the code option “TBWEN” must be enabled.
