Quick set up for in-circuit communication configuration

Connect your PC to your ST Micro Connect box via the parallel or USB ports. Ethernet

is not supported for in-circuit debugging and programming.

For more details refer to Chapter 3 on page 9.

Caution:

In order to use the ICC Add-on you must design your application board with an HE10

connector linked to the microcontroller in your application. The pins connected to the HE10

connector must use a signal voltage of 3.3 or 5 V. For more information refer to Section 5.2:

ICC connection requirements on page 25.

Select the voltage (3.3 or 5 V) with the selector switch on the board of your ICC add-on.

For more information on voltage specifications, refer to Section 5.3: ICC Add-on on

page 28.

Plug the ICC Add-on into the ‘Ext Link’ on your ST Micro Connect box.

Plug the ICC Add-on into the HE10 connector on your application board.

Power up your ST Micro Connect box.

Power up your application.
