To reduce power consumption in Power-down mode, the user can avoid the two conditions

above to ensure that the reference is turned off before entering Power-down mode.

Supply monitor

This feature is designed to prevent the AT90SCR100 operating under conditions that don’t guar-

antee a correct operation of its peripherals.

Useful to detect battery low voltage, the supply monitor peripheral generate an interruption when

Vcc drops below a level defined in Table 9-5.

Vcc shall be below Supply Monitor level for a minimum time before the interruption to be gener-

ated. In the same behavior than BOD, the Supply Monitor has an hysteresis to reach the level,

interpreted as VSMON+ = VSMON + VSMHYST/2 and VSMON- = VSMON - VSMHYST/2
