68 / 93 page  Rev. 1.00 68 ��to�e� ��� �01� Rev. 1.00 69 ��to�e� ��� �01� HT68F005/HT68F006 Enhanced I/O Flash Type MCU HT68F005/HT68F006 Enhanced I/O Flash Type MCU Interrupts Interruptsareanimportantpartofanymicrocontrollersystem.Whenanexternaleventoraninternal functionsuchasaTimerModulerequiresmicrocontrollerattention,theircorrespondinginterrupt willenforceatemporarysuspensionofthemainprogramallowingthemicrocontrollertodirect attentiontotheirrespectiveneeds.Thedevicescontainanexternalinterruptandinternalinterrupts functions.TheexternalinterruptisgeneratedbytheactionoftheexternalINTpin,whiletheinternal interruptsaregeneratedbyvariousinternalfunctionssuchastheTMs,TimeBaseandEEPROM. Interrupt Registers Overallinterruptcontrol,whichbasicallymeansthesettingofrequestflagswhencertain microcontrollerconditionsoccurandthesettingofinterruptenablebitsbytheapplicationprogram, iscontrolledbyaseriesofregisters,locatedintheSpecialPurposeDataMemory,asshowninthe accompanyingtable.Thenumberofregistersdependsuponthedeviceschosenbutfallintothree categories.ThefirstistheINTC0~INTC1registerswhichsetuptheprimaryinterrupts,thesecond istheMFI0~MFI1registerswhichsetuptheMulti-functioninterrupts.FinallythereisanINTEG registertosetuptheexternalinterrupttriggeredgetype. Eachregistercontainsanumberofenablebitstoenableordisableindividualinterruptsaswell asinterruptflagstoindicatethepresenceofaninterruptrequest.Thenamingconventionofthese followsaspecificpattern.Firstislistedanabbreviatedinterrupttype,thenthe(optional)numberof thatinterruptfollowedbyeitheran“E”forenable/disablebitor“F”forrequestflag.
