EEPROM Interrupt

AnEEPROMInterruptrequestwilltakeplacewhentheEEPROMInterruptrequestflag,DEF,isset,

whichoccurswhenanEEPROMWritecycleends.Toallowtheprogramtobranchtoitsrespective

interruptvectoraddress,theglobalinterruptenablebit,EMI,andEEPROMInterruptenablebit,

DEE,mustfirstbeset.Whentheinterruptisenabled,thestackisnotfullandanEEPROMWrite

cycleends,asubroutinecalltotherespectiveEEPROMInterruptvector,willtakeplace.Whenthe

EEPROMInterruptisserviced,theEMIbitwillbeautomaticallyclearedtodisableotherinterrupts,

andtheEEPROMinterruptrequestflag,DEF,willbealsoautomaticallycleared.

TM Interrupts

TheCompactTypeTMshavetwointerruptseach.AlloftheTMinterruptsarecontainedwithinthe

Multi-functionInterrupts.ForeachoftheCompactTypeTMstherearetwointerruptrequestflags

TnPFandTnAFandtwoenablebitsTnPEandTnAE.ATMinterruptrequestwilltakeplacewhen

anyoftheTMrequestflagsareset,asituationwhichoccurswhenaTMcomparatorPorAmatch

situationhappens.

Toallowtheprogramtobranchtoitsrespectiveinterruptvectoraddress,theglobalinterruptenable

bit,EMI,respectiveTMInterruptenablebit,andrelevantMulti-functionInterruptenablebit,MFnE,

mustfirstbeset.Whentheinterruptisenabled,thestackisnotfullandaTMcomparatormatch

situationoccurs,asubroutinecalltotherelevantMulti-functionInterruptvectorlocations,willtake

place.WhentheTMinterruptisserviced,theEMIbitwillbeautomaticallyclearedtodisableother

interrupts,howeveronlytherelatedMFnFflagwillbeautomaticallycleared.AstheTMinterrupt

requestflagswillnotbeautomaticallycleared,theyhavetobeclearedbytheapplicationprogram.

Interrupt Wake-up Function

Eachoftheinterruptfunctionshasthecapabilityofwakingupthemicrocontrollerwheninthe

SLEEPorIDLEMode.Awake-upisgeneratedwhenaninterruptrequestflagchangesfromlow

tohighandisindependentofwhethertheinterruptisenabledornot.Therefore,eventhoughthese

devicesareintheSLEEPorIDLEModeanditssystemoscillatorstopped,situationssuchas

externaledgetransitionsontheexternalinterruptpin,alowpowersupplyvoltageorcomparator

inputchangemaycausetheirrespectiveinterruptflagtobesethighandconsequentlygenerate

aninterrupt.Caremustthereforebetakenifspuriouswake-upsituationsaretobeavoided.Ifan

interruptwake-upfunctionistobedisabledthenthecorrespondinginterruptrequestflagshouldbe

sethighbeforethedevicesentertheSLEEPorIDLEMode.Theinterruptenablebitshavenoeffect

ontheinterruptwake-upfunction.
