A/D Overview Thisdevicecontainsa9-channelanalogtodigitalconverter,8-channelcanbedirectlyinterfaceto externalanalogsignals,suchasthatfromsensorsorothercontrolsignalsandconvertthesesignals directlyintoeithera10-bitdigitalvalue.Anadditionalchannelisconnectedtotheexternalcurrent senseinputpin,Is,viaaninternaloperationalamplifierforsignalamplification,beforebeing transferredtotheA/Dconverterinput.Asetofwhatareknownashighandlowboundaryregisters, allowtheA/Dconverterdigitaloutputvaluetobecomparedwithupperandlowerlimitvaluesand acorrespondinginterrupttobegenerated.Anadditionaldelayfunctionallowsadelaytobeinserted intothePWMtriggeredA/Dconversionstartprocesstoreducethepossibilityoferroneousanalog valuesamplingwhentheoutputpowertransistorsareswitchinglargemotorcurrents.
