77 / 110 page ![]() DS14688 Rev 1 77/110 STM32WBA50KG Electrical characteristics 103 Note: For information about oscillator trimming, refer to AN5042 “Precise HSE frequency and startup time tuning for STM32 wireless MCUs”, available on www.st.com. Low-speed external clock The low-speed external (LSE) clock can be supplied with a crystal or a clock source. The information provided in this section is based on design simulation results, obtained with the typical external components specified in Table 49. In the application, the crystal and the load capacitors must be placed as close as possible to the oscillator pins, to minimize output distortion and startup stabilization time. Refer to the crystal resonator manufacturer for more details on the resonator characteristics (frequency, package, accuracy). Table 49. Specified by design, not tested in production. 2. For information on selecting the crystal, refer to AN2867 ‘Oscillator design guide for STM8AF/AL/S, STM32 MCUs and MPUs”. 3. CS_PARA is the equivalent capacitance seen by the crystal due to OSC32_IN and OSC32_OUT internal parasitic capacitances. 4. Time measured from when the LSE is enabled by software, until a stable LSE oscillation is reached. This value is measured for a standard crystal, and can vary significantly with the crystal used. |
